​Karimnagar: District Judge Nagamaruthi Sarma on Wednesday conducted the trial of ASI Mohan Reddy’s illegal finance case through a video conference. The Judge questioned the ASI and 10 others involved in the case through video conference and posted the case to January 27.
To avoid any untoward incidents, the district police produced ASI Mohan Reddy, who was undergoing judicial remand in connection with the case of operating illegal finance, in the court through video conference.
In the wake of the clash between the followers of ASI and advocates in the district court on December 31, police have decided to produce Mohan Reddy in the court through video conference. Mohan Reddy’s son, brother and others attacked the advocates when the later tried to capture the picture of ASI in their mobile phones.
Enraged over the incident, the advocates lodged a complaint with Two Town police, who registered a case against ASI’s son, wife, brother and another person. They were arrested and produced in the court.
