Khammam: The authorities of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple at Bhadrachalam have ignored the instructions of the Commissioner of Endowments Department to treat Kancharla Srinivasa Rao, a tenth generation descendant of Bhakta Ramadasu, as a VIP in all the temple festivals and invite him.
Srinivasa Rao told The Hans India: “Even though, I approached the temple authorities, I did not receive the invite of Lord’s celestial wedding for the last two years. This is against the orders of Commissioner.”
Bhadradri temple was built by Bhakta Ramadasu, the then tahsildar of Paloncha paragana, which was under the rule of Abul Hasan Tanesha of Golconda.
