According to the police, a DCM carrying mangoes was heading towards Hyderabad had hit a lorry which was parked at the roadside near a tea stall at Lakkaram village. 

Nalgonda: Two persons died and another two were severely injured when a DCM van hit lorry near Lakkaram village in Choutuppal mandal during the early hours of Tuesday. The deceased were identified as R Rama Rao (65) and D Koteshwar Rao (50) of Krishna and Khammam districts respectively.

According to the police, a DCM carrying mangoes was heading towards Hyderabad had hit a lorry which was parked at the roadside near a tea stall at Lakkaram village.

In the accident, two out of four persons in the DCM died on the spot while the other two- Venkateshwar Rao and K Rama Rao got severe injuries.

Locals informed the police and they rushed to the accident spot and shifted the injured to Kamineni Hospital in Hyderabad for better treatment. The deceased bodies were shifted to Choutuppal Government Hospital for post mortem. The Choutuppal town police registered a case and took up investigation.
