Nalgonda man returns from successful World Federation of Teachers Unions tour
World Federation of Teachers Unions (WFTU) Secretary M V Gona Reddy toured Uzbekistan for one week as part of a WFTU delegation from May 21 to May 26.
Nalgonda: World Federation of Teachers Unions (WFTU) Secretary M V Gona Reddy toured Uzbekistan for one week as part of a WFTU delegation from May 21 to May 26. On May 3, he returned from a successful trip to his native place Nalgonda. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, he informed that the visit facilitated the delegation to study the education and agricultural systems in rural areas of Uzbekistan, where they got to interact with the students of the urban as well as rural areas.
Leaders of Inter Vidya JAC M Narsireddy G Ashok Reddy, Mangya Naik, Dayakar Reddy, V Kondal, T Sudarani, A Anjaiah and T Laxminarayana congratulated Gona Reddy on his successful tour. Gona Reddy said that apart from studying the employment opportunities in the country, the tour team also visited Shastri Sanskrit School and other important places in Tashkent, Samarkand, and other cities.
Gona Reddy had earlier visited Bangladesh, China, Japan and Hong Kong on behalf of WFTU. He also organised a World Teachers Conference in Nalgonda.
