Telangana Govt to spend 16 crore for Ramzan

Hyderabad: The State government is celebrating the Holy Ramzan festival across the State and offering Iftar parties to Muslim brethren on June 26, according to Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav.

At a high-level review meeting with Masjid committee members at the Secretariat here on Thursday, Yadav shared his views on Ramzan festival and arrangements being made.

He said as much as Rs 16 crore was being spent for the festivities, including Rs 12 crore for distributing clothes for six lakh persons and to conduct Iftar parties in all selected mosques.
