New Delhi: TRS Rajya Sabha nominees, D Srinivas and Capt Lakshmikant Rao and YSRCP nominee Vijay Sai Reddy, were sworn in as members of the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.

Speaking to the media later, Vijay Sai Reddy stated that he would take his job seriously and work on people's issues. He said his priority was to work on bringing an amendment to the anti-defection law and expressed his intention of introducing a private member’s bill on the issue soon.
D Srinivas said he would work for the development of Telangana. Criticising the Centre for not extending full cooperation to the State government, he said he would work in close cooperation with the TRS.
