The district administration of Mahabubnagar is soon expected to come up with an action plan for the development of cultural artistes in the district.
Mahbubnagar: The district administration of Mahabubnagar is soon expected to come up with an action plan for the development of cultural artistes in the district.
While taking part at youth festival at Ambedkar Bhavan on Wednesday, District Collector Ronald Rose said that soon the district administration will come out with a development action plan for the cultural artistes in district.
Addressing the inaugural function of youth festival, the collector said that India has more than 50 per cent youth population in the country and it is youth who play a vital role in the building of the nation.
“We will soon come up with a development action plan for the cultural artistes in the district. The youth must come forward and catch up all the opportunities available for them.
Cultural artistes play a vital role in imbibing social values and take forward our culture and tradition to newer heights,” opined the collector.
School children and many young artistes took part in the youth festival. Young children played drama, danced and exhibited their artistic skills.
Satya Vaani, District Youth and Sports Officer, Ravi Shankar, Chairman of cultural organization, Shivakumar, Balabhavan in charge and leading artists like Umapati, Sudharshan Rao, Surender and Pole Satyam etc took part in the programme.
