New Delhi: The race for 2019 has begun with the BJP already rolling drums to make sure that their win will not be a surprise for the Opposition as the ruling party is perhaps the only formidable force to reckon with.
With the RSS coming to play as their major reinforcement, this time they are leaving no stone unturned as their main concern is the uplift of women, who constitute nearly 50% of the population.
The RSS might have been setting new standards by initiating a comprehensive survey to grasp the status of women and their social and economic conditions.
In a time where people feel better in considering themselves feminists, the survey is expected to be pivotal for the BJP in the 2019 election. As India is a diverse nation, the survey will comprehensively cover every class and religion as it will be conducted on very vast scale where working women, widows, housewives, ‘adivasi’, ‘vanvasi’, labour class and even ‘sanyasins’ will be roped in the survey extensively.
Various organisations and affiliates concerning the woman pracharaks have been assigned to do this survey.
While the ABVP will be conducting the survey among the students in the same manner, the VHP and Durga Vahini for sanyasins, Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh for woman laborers and woman wing of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram for woman laborers.
The survey is divided into 2 parts where the first comprises of basic information of women. The second will be having meticulous information of their work, social and economic condition.
Albeit the 2019 elections are around the corner, this survey is not just another stepping stone but in fact it is being initiated for the betterment of women living in our society.
After the survey is conducted, the RSS will be preparing a report where further proposals and resolutions will be taken-up to revamp their present situation.
