Hyderabad better in implementing Swachh Bharat than other cities: KTR

Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday addressed the media after flagging off vehicles which will be used for transporting garbage.

Informing that more treatment plants will be set up on the outskirts of the city, he said that Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is collecting 3,000 tonnes of garbage.

KTR shared that the GHMC has collected 4,000 tonnes of waste after the implementation of Swachh Hyderabad.

The Minister said that the Telangana government got recognition from Centre in implementing Swachh Bharat in Hyderabad compared to other metro cities.
