Hyderabad: In a warning for Andhra Pradesh, the Met department bulletin said on Friday that shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at isolated places in Krishna and Guntur districts on January 20, for the third day in a row. It said shallow to moderate fog occurred in the two districts on Friday.
According to the bulletin, the night temperatures were appreciably below normal ranging from 3.1 to 5 degrees Celsius at a few places in Rayalaseema and at one or two places across the coastal districts.
The lowest minimum temperature of 13 degrees Celsius was recorded in Arogyavaram, one degree less than that prevailed on Thursday. However, there was no large change in the temperatures in the two regions during the last 24 hours.
The other night temperatures recorded in the State were: Visakhapatnam Airport, Anantapur, Kadapa & Tirupati 15 deg C each, Kalingapatnam, Jangamaheswarapuram & Nandyal 16 each, Bapatla & Nandigama 17 each, Tuni, Vijayawada & Kurnool 18 each, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Kavali, Machilipatnam & Narsapur 19 each, Nellore 20 and Ongole 21.
