Woman attempts suicide, jumps into Hussain Sagar lake; rescued

A woman allegedly attempted suicide today in Hyderabad when she jumped into the Hussain Sagar lake.

The woman jumped into the lake around 7 am on Friday. She was noticed by two men, including a cop who rushed to her rescue. Both the men jumped after her into the lake and brought her out immediately.

The reasons behind her attempted suicide are yet to be ascertained.

Police suspect that she was depressed over some domestic issue or love affair and chose to take the extreme step.
