Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister (Revenu) Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Friday informed the Legislative Assembly that the purification of nearly 93% of land records across Telangana State has been completed.
Replying to a question raised by TRS MLAs V. Srinivas Goud, Kalvakuntla Vidya Sagar Rao, Aroori Ramesh and Alla Verikateswar Reddy during Question Hour, the Deputy CM said that the purification of lands would benefit a total of 72,12,111 farmers. He also assured that the new Pattadar Pass Books would be give to ryots during the month of April and May this year.
Mahmood Ali informed that the house that the State Government has decided to sanction one month basic pay as incentive to Revenue staff who worked hard for its successful completion. The decision would benefit 35,172 employees and the financial burden on the State's exchequer would be of Rs. 72 crore.
