Kothagudem: District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu asked the people to utilise the Grievance Day to solve their problems. On Monday, the Collector attended the Grievance Day programme at the Collectorate and received petitions from people and forwarded them to the concern department officers for their redressal.
The Collector asked the people to utilise the facility and meet all district officers in one day and put their problems before them for quick redressal. He also directed officers to clear all petitions immediately. He discussed the last week applications and their status. He told officers that it was a good opportunity for every officer to meet people in one day every week.
The Collector also asked Medical and Health Department officers to conduct health camps in villages to prevent the outbreak of seasonal diseases. He also directed them to conduct awareness programmes on seasonal diseases in the Agency area.
Hanumanthu also discussed conduct of Haritha Haram Programme in the district. He said, the saplings have already been distributed to various departments. With planting of saplings, their protection and care is also very important, he said, appealing to the officers and departments to make Haritha Haram a grand success. He said, the district has set a target of 95,000 saplings.
District Revenue Officer Kiran Kumar, District Rural Development Agency Project Director P. Jagath Kumar Reddy, Revenue Divisional Officer Ravindernath and other officers attended the programme.
