Vehicular traffic on ORR restricted on September 2

Rangareddy: A public meeting is being organized by the ruling TRS Party in the name of “Pragathi Nivedana Sabha ” ( a paper on development) onSeptember 2 at Kongara Kalan & Raviryala Villages of Maheshwaram and Ibrahimpatnam Mandals. Over 25 Lakh people are likely to attend the meeting. In view of the huge gathering and the vehicle movement on the ORR ssued a notification restricting movement of vehicles.
The Tractors with Trollyes and other slow moving vehicles are not permitted on to the ORR and shall travel on the service roads. The public is hereby cautioned and advised not to opt for the ORR travel to reach different destinations on the day of Pragathi Nivedana Sabha due to the heavy traffic and possibility of congestion.
The public travelling to reach the Airport may have to spend extra time due to the slow moving of the traffic on ORR on September 2. It is also decided that there would not be any toll to be paid from 9am to 12 midnight, according to a release from HMDA.
