Hyderabad: With an objective of clearing any misconceptions about the life history of Prophet Muhammad, a unique quiz competition exclusive for non-Muslims is being organised for the first time in the city on Sunday (January 6). Cash prizes ranging from Rs 20,000 to10, 000 will be presented to the first three winners, besides seven consolation prizes of Rs 2,000.

Making the announcing, the city president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) president Hafez Rashaduddin said that the quiz would be held in two languages: Telugu and English. The topic of the quiz contest will be ‘Prophet Muhammad-Real Benefactor of Humanity’ (Manawa Mahopakari Muhammad in Telugu) and the questions will be asked from the book ‘Muhammad, the benefactor of humanity,’ written by Naeem Siddiqi.

“The quiz will be conducted team-wise. Each team will consist of two members. In case you don't find a quiz partner for yourself you may find one at the venue. You are required to come before 10:00 am on January 6 at Red Rose Function Hall, Opposite to Public Garden in Nampally and report at the registration counter. Syllabus of the quiz is majorly from the book and basic general knowledge about the personality.
