Collector livid at EE for falling behind schedule
The Collector ordered the officials to speed up the construction works at a review meeting with the officials of district youth and sport authority, R&B and social welfare departments at his chamber in the Collectorate here on Wednesday.
Jagtial: The Housing Corporation Executive Engineer faced the ire of District Collector A Sharath for failing to complete the construction of mini-stadium at Raikal of Metpally mandal even after the deadline concluded. He was surprised to know that only 50 per cent of works was completed so far.
The Collector ordered the officials to speed up the construction works at a review meeting with the officials of district youth and sport authority, R&B and social welfare departments at his chamber in the Collectorate here on Wednesday.
The Collector ordered the Executive Engineer of Social Welfare department to hand over the construction works to a new agency and asked the R&B department officials to take initiation for completing the works within one month. The officials were ordered to complete the construction works of mini-stadium at Jagtial within 15 days.
He chided the officials for their apathy in completing the works even though sufficient funds were released for the construction of mini-stadiums in the district. He also warned the officials of stringent action if works are not completed by the end of December and they should be ready for usage by the beginning of New Year.
District Youth and Sports Authority officer Mohammad Ali, the Social Welfare department Executive Engineer Shafi Miya and R&B Executive Engineer Kamalakar were present along with others.
