The teams of Rashtriya Bala Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) were directed administering measles and rubella vaccine to every student studying in government and private educational institutions without fail.
Peddapalli: The teams of Rashtriya Bala Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) were directed administering measles and rubella vaccine to every student studying in government and private educational institutions without fail.
District Medical and Health Officer (DM&HO) Dr Pramod Kumar along with RBSK district coordinator Dr Yashoda chaired a review meeting with the officials of health department and with RBSK teams at DM&HO hall here on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr Pramod Kumar ordered the officials to discharge their duties perfectly by screening every student, who is studying in both private and government schools along with administering the MR Vaccine to every student.
Due to the deficit of staff in various health centres in the district, he suggested to hire private doctors, specialists in ENT, gynecology, pediatric, cardiology etc to provide better treatment to the public and to provide necessary medical equipments.
Instead of tabs like last year, a mobile sim card with one-year data will be given to the RBSK officials this year. Deputy DM&HO Dr Venkatanagaraju, district immunisation officer Krupabhai and RBSK health officials were present along with others.

District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed ordered the officials of health department to administer measles and rubella vaccine to all the children between the age group of nine months to 15 years present in the district.
He chaired a meeting with the medical officers of primary health centres, child development and protection officers (CDPOs) and mandal education officers (MEOs) at the Collectorate conference hall here on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting, Sarfaraz ordered the CDPOs and anganwadi teachers to take necessary steps for administering of MR Vaccine through health officials to every child by visiting every house in all villages.
The MEOs were ordered to hand over the details of the students studying in both private and government schools to the health officials for administering the vaccine.
District medical and health officer Dr Rajesham, district education officer Rajiv and health officials of PHCs, MEOs and CDPOs were present along with others.
