OPPO A7 Pro launched with 8,000mAh battery and 120Hz AMOLED display

Beyond competing on camera features the OPPO A7 Pro is designed for users who want a phone that can handle tough everyday tasks. The phone also has a MediaTek Dimensity processor, charging and the newest version of the ColorOS operating system.

OPPO A7 Pro price and availability:

Oppo has already launched the A7 Pro in China. The prices look very fair. The basic model—6GB RAM with 256GB storage—costs 2,199 yuan, which's approximately ₹31,400. If you want memory the 8GB/256GB version costs 2,499 yuan or around ₹35,700. The colour choices are where Oppo got a little creative: "Riding the Waves" (a colour) "Blooming Steps" (pink) and a quieter "Desert Brown". As for India or other parts of the world Oppo has not said anything yet. Honestly even if it does come here eventually don't expect the same prices or the same specs—companies usually change both for local markets.

The best part of the OPPO A7 Pro is its 8,000 mAh battery, which should give good battery life for people who are not near a charger, for a long time. The phone also has 45W wired charging using a USB Type-C port.

Durability is another aspect and I think Durability matters a lot. OPPO says the A7 Pro has IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K certifications, well as MIL-STD-810H certification. This means the phone is made to protect against dust to stay safe when it is dipped in water and even to survive high‑pressure water jets. Durability is a selling point for people who worry about their phones getting wet or dusty.

PPO A7 Pro has a battery yet the phone stays thin at 8.8 mm and light at 205 grams. OPPO A7 Pro also has an in‑display fingerprint sensor. OPPO A7 Pro shows a 6.57‑inch HD+ AMOLED screen that refreshes at 120 Hz and can shine at, up to 1400 nits. OPPO A7 Pro also offers DCI‑P3 colour coverage and PWM dimming up to 2160 Hz.

Inside the OPPO A7 Pro the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX chipset works with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. In China the OPPO A7 Pro runs ColorOS 16.0 based on Android 16.

Regarding the camera setup the OPPO A7 Pro has a 50 MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. On the front the OPPO A7 Pro has an 8 MP selfie camera. The OPPO A7 Pro also includes stereo speakers, high‑resolution audio, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4 Wi‑Fi 6 GPS, dual‑SIM 5G connectivity and a USB Type‑C port.
