19-yr-old killed in tractor-bike collision in Ramannapet
A 19-year-old youngster died on the spot when the bike he was riding hit a tractor on the outskirts of Indrapalanagaram village of Ramannapet mandal in the district on Wednesday late night.
Ramannapet (Yadadri-Bhongir): A 19-year-old youngster died on the spot when the bike he was riding hit a tractor on the outskirts of Indrapalanagaram village of Ramannapet mandal in the district on Wednesday late night. According to villagers, Sangishetty Raghu, a handloom weaver of Choutuppal, has three sons.
His second son, Praveen, has stopped his education after Intermediate and started working as weaver for the last few months. However, he joined as supervisor at a private organisation in Shameerpet 10 days ago. On Wednesday night, he along with his friend, Rakesh started from Shameerpet on a bike to go to his native place Choutuppal.
However, their bike hit a tractor coming in opposite direction when they reached Indrapalanagaram outskirts at about 12.30 am. In this incident, Praveen, who suffered grave injuries, died on the spot, while his friend Rakesh escaped the incident with minor injuries.
Based on the complaint of Raghu, Ramannapet SI CH Sailu filed a case and took up the investigation.
