ABVP celebrates Disha killers encounter
The ABVP has on Friday celebrated the encounter killing of four persons who molested and killed Disha, a Hyderabad-based vet, by bursting the firecrackers.
Warangal: The ABVP has on Friday celebrated the encounter killing of four persons who molested and killed Disha, a Hyderabad-based vet, by bursting the firecrackers. It may be recalled here that 28-year-old Disha was gang-raped and killed by Mohammed Arif, Naveen, Shiva and Chennakeshavulu near Shadnagar in Rangareddy district on November 28.
ABVP leader Punnam Venu heaped praise on Telangana police especially V C Sajjanar, the Cyberabad Police Commissioner, for instilling a sense of confidence among the women that no culprit will escape from the clutches of law.
"The encounter is surely to make women believe that Police Department is in the forefront to protect them," he said.
Derangula Ganesh, Erragolla Bharat Veer, Chandu, Pasha, Kiran, Shivaji, Mitranand and scores of students participated in the celebration.
