BRS activists torn down banners of Malla Reddy 's daughter-in-law Preethi Reddy in Medchal

Flex banners put up to mark the birthday of Preethi Reddy, daughter-in-law of former minister Malla Reddy, have sparked a political controversy in the Medchal constituency as BRS activists tore down the banners in several areas.

Party workers objected to the absence of photographs of BRS chief KCR, working president KTR, and local party leaders on the banners displayed in Suraram, Quthbullapur, and Medchal.

Activists raised slogans against Malla Reddy during the incident. Their anger was fueled by speculation that Preethi Reddy is planning to join the BJP. They are demanding disciplinary action regarding the conduct of Malla Reddy's family members.
