Gadwal: While giving a call to people of various villages, local people's representatives and all those connected with their villages, District Collector Shashanka said that the State government had introduced the 30-day action plan to completely change the face of villages.

"The 30-day action plan programme is one of most prominent programmes of the government to bring a complete makeover to villages. It is high time we all come together and utilise this opportunity to rebuild our villages and make it a clean and green adobe to make a healthy living for all," said the Collector, while inspecting the implementation of 30-day action plan in various villages.

As part of the inspection, the District Collector visited the villages of Pulluru and Kalugotla under Undavelli mandal in the district and expressed his satisfaction after witnessing the plantation of trees along the roads. He also inspected the dumping yards and graveyards established in all villages. "Development is possible only when the government officials, people's representatives and the people themselves come forward and extend a hand of cooperation. We are really happy to see that the 30-day action plan programme has brought in vast changes in many villages," said the Collector.

The Collector urged the people of these villages to resolve the issues of power connection during the power week celebrations and also asked the village officials concerned to take immediate steps to construct Anganwadi buildings in all the villages as early as possible.

The collector also asked the concerned officials of the villages to prepare annual and five-year plans to make sure that this process of cleanliness and plantation programme and other development continues so that the villages have a complete makeover in the coming up days.
