Hyderabad: Telangana government doctors from across the State have decided to extend support to RTC bandh on October 19. Accordingly, they will be sporting black badges at work.

However, there would be no disruption of services as all doctors will be discharging their duties as usual.

Telangana doctors working in various tertiary and peripheral hospitals in twin cities, district and area hospitals and CHCs as well as PHCs in all districts would be participating in the protests.

According to members of Telangana Government Doctors Association, all local units have been told to wear black badges to extend solidarity with striking RTC workers.

Doctors in Gandhi and ESI as well as in Nizamabad and Warangal hospitals held emergency meetings on Friday to discuss this issue and later adopt a resolution to support the RTC staff.
