Yadadri-Bhongir: As many as 40 representatives from 24 countries part of an International training programme of Environment Protection Training and Research Institute (EPTRI) visited Resource Park in Bhongir on Wednesday.

Bhongir Municipal Commissioner Vamshi Krishna welcomed the representatives and explained the segregation of dry and wet waste, preparation of compost after pulverisation, recycling of dry litter, separation of plastic covers from collected litter and solid waste management. The Commissioner explained how waste was collected at the doorsteps and sanitation is carried out to maintain cleanliness in the Municipality limits.

Foreign representatives appreciated the municipal staff and officials for their work towards solid waste management.
