Parigi: Former MLA T Rammohan Reddy distributed groceries to the protesting RTC workers, here on Thursday. As many as 366 workers who have been on strike for the last 20 days were given the groceries.
The former MLA extended his support to the protesting workers. Speaking on the occasion, he said the workers are protesting without salaries, and that they did not even celebrate festivals.
"I gave them groceries, as part of my responsibility. It is unfair on the part of government for neglecting them. Their families are struggling a lot," he said. He demanded the government to resolve their issues immediately.
