Former minister Harish Rao lashed out at the Congress government and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy regarding their conduct in the state. He criticised the government for remaining in a deep slumber while available water flows away unused. He slammed the administration for standing idly by while Andhra Pradesh diverts Krishna river water. He demanded that the government pay special attention to utilizing every single drop of water, rather than simply washing its hands of the issue by citing the El NiƱo effect.
He urged the CM to focus on lifting our rightful share of water instead of merely asking AP to stop lifting theirs. He made a sharp remark, saying, "Don't focus on 'lifting' us out of the Assembly; focus on lifting the water."
He alleged that Revanth Reddy bears no sense of responsibility and is concerned only with his own well-being and that of his mentor. Harish Rao recalled how cases were filed against them when they protested for the people by removing their shirts, noting that people across the state are now staging semi-nude protests.
He expressed anger over the government's failure to provide even an adequate electricity supply across the state. He challenged Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to visit a power substation, asserting that the state is currently not even receiving seven hours of electricity.
