In order to address this issue, Hyderabad Traffic Police has come with an initiative to label cabs as secure. Cabs with proper documents and track record can register 'My Cab Is Safe' in Hyderabad limits. The registration commences from Friday at Traffic Training Institute in Begumpet. Anil Kumar, Additional Commissioner of Traffic, said "Registration of cabs would help to track the cab in case of any exigency and gives a sense of security to passengers. This initiative is taken up in Rachakonda and Cyberabad limits."
