Hyderabad traffic police introduce LED speed breakers at KBR park

- The LED speed breakers will help the motorists in noticing the signal from a distance
To ensure that the motorists do not skip the traffic signal, the traffic police on Tuesday experimented LED speed breakers at the KBR park junction. This comes after the motorists skipping the signal on the pretext of not seeing it.
Along with traffic light, the LED speed breakers gets switched on automatically at the KBR park junction. "They are waterproof and have a little effect during rain or stagnation of water, said M Narsing Rao, Inspector, Traffic police. He also added that they are experimenting it and launch it full-fledged based on the results.
The LED speed breakers will help the motorists in noticing the signal from a distance who often comes with an excuse of not seeing the red light or a big vehicle blocking their sight.
The speed breakers which is connected to the output of the traffic signal box switch colours with the traffic lights.
