Kompalli School shows strong growth in student enrolment

Jayashankar Bhupalpally: District Collector Rahul Sharma praised the efforts of teachers at Kompalli Government School for improving student enrolment, teaching quality and basic facilities. During a surprise inspection of the Zilla Parishad High School and pre-primary school on Wednesday, the Collector reviewed educational activities and amenities provided to students.

He appreciated the nearly 50 percent increase in enrolments, attributing it to teachers’ efforts to arrange transport during the summer vacation and conduct door-to-door awareness campaigns among parents.

Sharma inspected the science laboratory and stressed the importance of hands-on learning. He also interacted with Class 10 students and encouraged them to pursue their career ambitions while giving equal importance to sports.

At the pre-primary school, he reviewed classrooms, teaching methods and mid-day meals. He directed officials to improve facilities, including a kitchen shed, and planted a sapling on the school premises.

DEO Lalitha, Sarpanch Srikant, headmasters, teachers and staff attended the programme.
