In the view of the procession being taken out on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on Friday, the police restricted the traffic in a few years in Hyderabad along with the closure of liquor shops from 6 am to 6 pm to prevent any untoward incidents from occurring.

The procession will be taken out around 8 am from Lord Rama temple in Gowliguda to Tadbund in Secunderabad. It will pass through Gowliguda, Kachiguda, Narayanaguda, RTC crossroads, Secunderabad Bata, Bible House and Tadbund. The procession will end at 7 pm.

Tight security has been deployed for the Hanuman Jayanti celebrations in the city. Around 10,000 policemen drawn from various wings along with 20 platoons of central forces.

Further, the police restricted the traffic flow in the city for the procession. The public has been advised to avoid the above areas in Hyderabad tomorrow.
