A National design centre will be set up in Hyderabad making it as a global design destination, said Minister for IT, KT Rama Rao while speaking at World Design Assembly programme.

T-Hub, T-works and image towers are being constructed in the city which is all set to beat Bengaluru soon, added the minister. He said that tourism is also being developed at a brisk pace along with the IT.
The state has become popular with Gadwal and Pochampalli which have been garnered worldwide attention for its handloom works, KT Rama Rao said adding that the government is planning to take measures to encourage enthusiasts.
