New containment zones in LB Nagar, Kothapet and Vanastalipuram

Hyderabad: Sudden surge in positive cases in LB Nagar and Vanastalipuram area which have reported 30 cases on a single day has put the Telangana Government under more pressure.

The police and municipal administration authorities clamped stringent restrictions on the movements of people on Sunday. Majority of the colonies in LB Nagar and Vanastalipuram were declared containment zones. Some of the streets in Kothapet area were also declared containment zones and the people movements were completely restricted.

All the shops were closed on these area and special teams were deployed to ensure people not to venture out of their homes for a week.
