Central Bank of India celebrated Founder’s Day here on Monday, along with staff and customers

Nizamabad: Central Bank of India celebrated Founder's Day here on Monday, along with staff and customers. In the inaugural address, Chief Manager L Chetan Kumar informed that this bank is the first Indian Swadeshi bank founded by Sorabji Pochkhanawala.

Despite of Covid-19 crisis, the branch was successful in implementing Aadhaar Seva Kendra, credit offtake in MSME and PM Mudra, PM SVANidhi scheme for financing street vendors and retail loan schemes beside significant enrolments in digital banking facilities, social security schemes like PMJJBY, PMSBY, PPF, etc, he stated.

Chetan Kumar said that the bank is observing 'Retail Mahotsav', where there will be no processing fee for home loans, vehicle loans, gold loans and rate of interest is very low.

The staff emphasised exclusive features of gold loan, which is a quick convertor of gold ornaments into cash and also requested NPA loan borrowers to tap the advantage of one-time settlement scheme of the bank. Chetan thanked all the customers for their relationship and good association with the bank.
