RTC bus hits motorcyclist in Shabad, biker injured
An RTC bus collided with a motorcyclist at Nagarguda crossroads in Shabad mandal, Ranga Reddy district, leaving the rider critically injured.
Police and local residents said the bus, from Shadnagar depot, was travelling at speed and alarming other road users before it struck the two-wheeler. The rider suffered serious head injuries. Residents and motorists took him to a nearby hospital.
Police identified the injured man as Mantrala Narasimhulu, from Etla Erravalli. Officers inspected the scene and registered a case based on his complaint. An investigation is under way.
Local residents have criticised what they describe as reckless driving and speeding by RTC bus drivers. They have urged Shadnagar depot officials to respond and take steps to prevent further accidents.
