Shivaji is a symbol of public governance with dharma, justice and self-respect

Hanumakonda: Vardhannapet MLA and retired IPS officer KR Nagaraju said that the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who fought for the people with dharma, justice and self-respect, is inspiring for today's youth.

MLA KR Nagaraju unveiled the statue of Shivaji Maharaj, installed under the auspices of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Utsav Committee in Arepalli village of Hanumakonda district on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA called on the youth to move forward taking Shivaji's ideals and aspirations as inspiration. He said that Shivaji's struggles for the freedom of the people and his efforts to protect dharma have gone down in history. He said that Shivaji's governance system, which prioritized dharma, justice and self-respect and desired public welfare, was exemplary. He suggested that the youth should study his life history and act responsibly towards the country and society.

The MLA said that the installation of the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji in Arepalli was commendable and congratulated the members of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Utsav Committee who worked hard to install the statue.
