The Telangana government headed by chief minister Revanth Reddy on Wednesday issues orders on cancellation of deputations in the health department and asked the employees who were deployed on duty/work order basis must report back to their original place of posting by 5 pm on 08.02.2024.

In addition, all the Heads of Departments (HODs) under the administrative control of the HM&FW Department are required to submit a list of employees whose on duty/work orders have been cancelled as of 08.02.2024. They must also certify that there are no employees currently working on work order basis in their departments as of the same date.

Moving forward, HODs are instructed to issue deputations on a need basis only, with the written approval of the respective District Collectors. This measure aims to streamline the deployment process and ensure proper oversight and control over deputations within the department.
