TSLPRB extends deadline for submission of applications for police recruitment

The Telangana government has extended the time period for application submission for the post of a police. In an announcement released on Tuesday, the Police Recruitment Board stated that candidates could apply till 5 PM of September 16.

TSLPRB released a notification on July 29 for filling up 7,437 vacancies. These included Police Constable (Civil: 3,697; AR: 1,052), Police Constable (SAR CPL Men: 24), Special Protection Force Constable (1,380), Firefighter (751) and Jail Warder (208). While the original deadline was September 9, a decision to extend the deadline up to September 16 was taken.

According to TSLPRB, the total number of applicants registered till date is 338,336 and 288,530 candidates have paid fees and applied. The board further informed that Aadhaar card verification of more than 95 percent candidates has been completed.
