New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, on Wednesday held a Janata Darshan at the Gorakhnath Temple, where he met around 200 people, listened to their grievances and directed officials to ensure their prompt and satisfactory resolution.
The Chief Minister said that resolving people’s problems, promoting public welfare and bringing happiness into the lives of citizens remained the government’s foremost commitment. He instructed officials to deal with every victim and complainant sensitively and ensure that no genuine grievance was ignored.
During the interaction, he personally reached out to people seated on chairs in front of the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan on the temple premises. He listened to their concerns one by one and forwarded their applications to the concerned departments. He assured the visitors that the government was committed to resolving every legitimate problem.
The Chief Minister directed officials to take strict legal action against those illegally occupying land or forcibly evicting vulnerable people. He said that such offenders should not be spared under any circumstances.
“In cases involving family disputes over land or property, the concerned parties should be brought together and the matter resolved through dialogue and mutual understanding,” he said.
CM Adityanath also instructed officials to deal with revenue and police-related matters with complete transparency and impartiality. “No one should face injustice. Every victim must be treated with sensitivity and provided all possible assistance,” he said.
He further directed officials to identify people who had been deprived of the benefits of government welfare schemes for any reason and ensure that they received the benefits without delay.
Several people approached the Chief Minister seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. CM Adityanath assured them that the government would provide all possible support for their treatment. He directed officials to complete the process of preparing medical cost estimates at the earliest and forward them to the government for approval.
The Chief Minister also asked the visitors whether they possessed Ayushman cards. He instructed officials to ensure that Ayushman cards were issued to all eligible and needy people who did not have them, so that they could access cashless medical treatment under the government scheme.
