Divi’s secures first place in poverty alleviation

Visakhapatnam: The scheme initiated by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for poverty alleviation in the state has not only yielded excellent results at the grassroots level but has also led to the presentation of district-level awards recognising the contributions of various organisations.
As part of the ‘Swarnandhra 2047’ vision, the P4 Foundation celebrated its first-anniversary at the Visakhapatnam Convention Centre. Organisations that actively strove to alleviate poverty at the district level were recognised and presented with certificates of appreciation. Among the organisations working towards poverty alleviation in the Visakhapatnam district, Divi’s Laboratories Limited (Chippada Unit) secured the first-place, earning the distinction of being a ‘Margadarshi’ (Pioneer). District In-charge Minister Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy presented a certificate of appreciation and a memento to YS Koteswara Rao on behalf of Divi’s management.
The presentation took place in the presence of GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, and Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
Divi’s managing director, D Murali Krishna, representatives from various organisations, mentors, ‘golden families,’ representatives from Divi’s Laboratories were present.
