Major shocker to BJP; Kishan Reddy loses

The TRS candidate won with a small majority of 1,016 votes. Kishan Reddy secured 60,542 votes and Kaleru Venkatesh 61,558 votes

Amberpet: Former BJP state president and Amberpet BJP candidate Kishan Reddy lost Assembly elections to TRS Party candidate Kaleru Venkatesh.  

Kishan Reddy was in lead in the first four rounds, but his opponent picked up in the later rounds.

Though he gained in 15 and 16 rounds, 17th round proved to be crucial in securing victory for the TRS candidate. 

The TRS candidate won with a small majority of 1,016 votes. Kishan Reddy secured 60,542 votes, and Kaleru received 61,558 votes. 

TRS activists held celebrations near the counting center after the results were announced. 

Kaleru expressed his gratitude to voters of the constituency who have supported him. He also thanked the party activists for striving for his victory.
