ENIGMA–2026 fest promotes innovation and technical learning

JNTU Jagtial Vice Principal Dr K. Srinivas emphasised that students who kept pace with emerging technologies could achieve success more easily in today’s highly competitive environment.

He was speaking after inaugurating “ENIGMA–2026,” a technical fest organised by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Singapuram KITS Engineering College in Huzurabad mandal.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Srinivas urged students not to confine themselves to the prescribed syllabus and highlighted the importance of staying updated with the latest technological developments and tools. He noted that awareness of new innovations was essential for career advancement, as technology continued to shape and simplify daily life.

College Principal Dr K. Shankar said that an Idea Lab had been established on the campus to encourage students to engage in practical experiments and innovative projects. He added that participation in competitions played a key role in developing leadership skills among students. Handwriting analyst Satya Prakash remarked that handwriting reflected an individual’s personality. He said that participating in competitions, interacting with diverse groups, and gaining exposure to different environments helped enhance mental abilities.

Dean and Head of the Electrical Engineering Department Dr Yogesh Pundalik stated that a series of competitions were being conducted as part of the fest.

College Registrar Dr V. Rajeshwara Rao said that involvement in scientific, technical and cultural activities helped students build leadership qualities and improved their employment prospects.
