Governor, CM extend Dasara greetings
Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has extended her warm and cordial greetings to the Telangana people on the occasion of Vijaya Dasami festival.
In a message here on Monday, the Governor said the Navaratri festival renews us with spirit of joy and jubilation.
"Truth alone Triumphs" is our national credo and while celebrating the festival, we have to collectively endeavour to fight all the evils, including environmental hazards and to create greener neighbourhoods.
"I pray the Divine Mother to shower Her Blessings on all of us on the occasion of happy and festive celebrations of Dasara," she added.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao conveyed his Vijaya Dasami greetings to Telangana people.
The CM said that this festival being celebrated as a triumph of good over evil is a message to the entire mankind.
