Haritha Haram plants destroyed

Shivampet: An angered person claiming rights over a parcel of land destroyed plants and tree guards on the premises of gram panchayat in Konthanpalli village on Wednesday. The saplings were planted on the occasion of Haritha Haram.

The accused Ch Prabhakar Reddy of the same village crushed the tree guards with his tractor and also abused the VRA who tried to stop him. Panchayat Secretary Srilatha lodged complaint against him. Shivampet SI Ramesh said they were investigating the issue.
