Dist admin receives applications for three hospitals, three clinics, one diagnostic centre and four scanning centres

Wanaparthy district Collector Adarsh Surabhi on Wednesday directed that private hospitals, clinics and scanning centres must operate in accordance with the Clinical Establishments Act, 2010, and must display rate charts clearly.

A district-level committee meeting for private hospital registration was held at the Collectorate, where several applications were reviewed. Applications were received for three hospitals, three clinics, one diagnostic centre four scanning centres. The committee examined them under the Collector’s leadership. Approval was granted for newly proposed facilities including: Kiran Gastro Liver Endoscopy Centre Clinic, Dr. Manisha Reddy Poly Clinic, Gayatri Dental Clinic. Similarly, approval was given for new hospitals: Ravindra Babu Hospital, Haindav Neuro Hospital, Arya Hospital.

In addition, one diagnostic centre and four scanning centres (two new and two renewals) were approved. The DC emphasised that hospitals must strictly adhere to all regulations and apply for renewals on time. He instructed that hospitals should provide adequate parking facilities to avoid inconvenience to the public; rate charts must be displayed in hospitals and clinics.

Surabhi warned under no circumstances should gender determination tests be conducted in scanning centres; strict action will be taken against those violating the rules. Any such incidents in the district should be reported immediately. District Medical and Health Officer Sainath Reddy,
