Khammam: Develop more facilities at Lakaram tank bund

Khammam: Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar on Friday instructed B Manohar Rao, managing director of the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC), and other officials concerned to develop more facilities at Lakaram Tank Bund.

Earlier, he inspected the tank bund along with TSTDC MD and other officials. He advised officials to develop amenities for the children, who are visiting the tank bund. Later, the minister participated in the 63rd death anniversary celebrations of Dr. B R Ambedkar in Khammam.

He garlanded the statue of Ambedkar in town centre here and recalled his service to the nation. Khammam Municipal Commissioner Anurag Jayanthi, Mayor Dr Papalal, Deputy Director Social Welfare Department K Satyanarayana, District Tourism Officer Suman Chakravarthy, Irrigation Engineer Narasimha Rao and corporators were present.
