80 Covid-19 patients discharged in Krishna district
In a significant development in the fight against Coronavirus, 80 persons admitted with Covid-19 infection were discharged from the Covid-19 hospitals
Vijayawada: In a significant development in the fight against Coronavirus, 80 persons admitted with Covid-19 infection were discharged from the Covid-19 hospitals in Krishna district on Saturday. Consequently, the active cases dropped from 142 on Friday to only 62 on Saturday.
By Saturday evening, 291 persons discharged from the Covid-19 treatment centres in the district.
Krishna district Collector Md Imtiaz on Saturday congratulated the doctors and medical staff for the successful treatment of patients and discharging 80 persons from two hospitals in a single day.
Of the total, 24 discharged from GGH and the remaining 56 from Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Medical College, Gannavaram. The district administration has distributed Rs 2,000 to each person while discharged from the hospital. So far, 367 coronavirus positive cases registered in the district.
