Amaravati development surges with building Reforms

Vijayawada: Minister for municipal administration and urban development Ponguru Narayana said that development works in the Amaravati capital region are progressing at a rapid pace and that revolutionary reforms have been introduced in the building construction sector for the first time in the history of the state.
The minister was speaking as the chief guest at the grand inauguration of the CREDAI Amaravati Chapter and the launch of the CREDAI Andhra Pradesh 2026 Diary held on Thursday. He noted that the government has issued several GOs and introduced amendments aimed at supporting builders while ensuring that the interests of the common public are safeguarded. He emphasised that the reforms are designed to streamline approvals, encourage investment, and promote planned urban growth.
On the occasion, minister Narayana administered the oath of office to the newly elected executive committee of the CREDAI Amaravati chapter. He also formally unveiled the ‘CREDAI AP 2026 Diary’, which contains comprehensive information related to the real estate sector, along with other dignitaries.
CREDAI national president-elect G Ram Reddy stated that infrastructure development in Amaravati is moving forward swiftly and that the real estate sector is gradually regaining momentum. He affirmed that CREDAI will continue to be a strong partner in the development of the capital region.
CREDAI AP chairman Buddiga Srinivasu, president Bayana Srinivasa Rao, general secretary Dasari Rambabu, EC member Tummala Vamsi and committee members from 22 chapters across the state attended the event.
The newly elected executive committee of the CREDAI Amaravati Chapter include A Nagamalleswara Rao as chairman, R. Kondala Rao as president, and NP Prashanth as general secretary.
