To further the improvement of education promise in their manifesto, CM YS Jagan deemed that to make changes in the current education system, 'Amma Odi' scheme would benefit Intermediate students as well.

YS Jagan's 'Amma Odi' scheme is set to be beneficial to residential students studying Intermediate. Among the students, White ration card holders are set to receive Rs 15,000 for their education.

The decision was taken after the CM conducted a meeting to discuss the changes that need to be made in the education sector of Andhra Pradesh to provide pure education filled with values.

The meeting was convened to decide the future direction the government would take to further the promise made in their manifesto. In the meeting, it was decided that growth would happen only when the scheme is applied to students of higher education as well.

Plans are being made to remodel and repair he schools and colleges, and staff positions are to be filled up soon.
