AP govt. announces increasing additional pension rates for eligible

Andhra Pradesh state government has made orders for increasing the additional pension rates of the eligible pensioners. It is made clear that additional pension will be increased from 7% to 10% for the beneficiaries who are over 70 years old. Additionally, the pension rate of those who are above 75 years will increase from 12% to 15%.

There will be no changes in the additional pension rates for the persons who are above 80 years old. These orders will become effective from the additional pension of December 2026 which will be released on 1 January 2027.

It is the welfare initiative of the government to support elderly people financially.
