APSRTC to operate special buses to Sabarimala
For the convenience of Ayappa devotees, the APSRTC Chittoor region decided to operate special buses to Sabarimala in Kerala.
Tirupati: For the convenience of Ayappa devotees, the APSRTC Chittoor region decided to operate special buses to Sabarimala in Kerala. Regional Manager T Chengal Reddy held a meeting with senior officials on the operation of special buses which will be operated from November 19 to January 2020.
Reddy said that the region is planned to operate 120 special buses to Sabarimala this season. Last year, 115 buses were operated by the region from various depots in Chittoor district for Ayyappa devotees.
RTC special buses are offering many facilities including exemption from payment of road tax for the inter-state bus service, free travel to 7 Guru Swamies, TV and Audio and also Rs 2,000 as incentive to the Guru Swamy or the devotee who book the bus.
